How do you operate?

After your enquiry is received there will be a complimentary consultation to discuss your requirements and meet your pet.

Once your groom is booked in and confirmed, on the day of your appointment I come to your home address in my mobile grooming van.

When I assess your pet, I can give a time frame to complete the groom and an estimated cost for the treatment. This is done on an individual bases depending on size, behaviour and coat condition. The cost can change from the quote depending on behaviour coat condition and time spent during the groom.

You will receive a reminder text about your upcoming appointment time, the day before your grooming appointment.

What parking space do I need to provide for your mobile van?

Please ensure that you have a flat surface for me to park on that is close enough for me to connect my 20m electrical cable and water hose to your home.

The van requires the following space to park.

  • Width of at least 2 metres.
  • Length of 3.5 – 4.0 metres (to allow for the back doors to open).
  • Height clearance of 3 metres (as there is an air-vent on the roof that must not get damaged).

Please check that there are no obstructions such as low lying branches or bushes etc that could scratch or damage the van.

Please let me know if there is an issue on space or height so we can discuss other parking areas.

Please note that if I am unable to park in your chosen parking place and unable to complete the groom, the full cost of the groom will be charged.

How many dogs do you have in your van at one time?

Due to the size of the van, I am only able to groom one dog at a time. This allows complete focus on your pet and for me to provide a high quality service with no distractions.

This one on one service provides a quiet and relaxed environment that is less stress on your pet due to there being no other dogs in the van at the same time.

How often should I get my dog groomed?

Moderate to high maintenance breeds need to be brushed at home weekly and usually require a full groom every 4-8 weeks. This time frame allows your dog to get used to me and the grooming experience, as well as allowing me to keep on top of his nails/ears.

Whats your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give at least 24 hours notice. If less than 24 hours notice is given, a fee of the total appointment amount is due. This is because we are a small business and allocate a time slot which may not be easily filled with such short notice.
